Swim Week, one of the hottest (and steamiest) weeks of the year (literally, it was like 95+ degrees) is a time where some of the biggest brands in swimwear take over Miami. I attend it every year; it’s so much fun!
Wow, guys. It’s been a minute.
This past weekend was Miami Swim Week. For those who don’t know, Swim Week is basically a marathon (in heels, mind you) of fashion events centered around swimsuits and resort wear every July. Thousands (yes, thousands) of designers, buyers, stylists, bloggers, you name it… attend to see what trends will hit the retail racks next spring for the 2018-19 season. It’s one part exciting, (because you meet so many amazing people!) one part utterly exhausting. Let’s just say I’m happy to be back home in West Palm Beach in my sweet apartment.
Prior to Swim Week, I was celebrating my birthday. And before that? Who knows. Possibly traveling? Projects for the blog? At this point, life seems like a blur. But I couldn’t be happier… 🙂
Lately, all I want to wear when it’s hot outside are shorts – all – day – long. But what fun is that? Hence tonight’s look.
This little white dress from Ann Taylor is perfect for hot days in Palm Beach. It will make you look insta-ntly put together but requires little effort to style. It’s cut from cotton that’s double lined and feels wonderfully lightweight to wear.
A couple weeks ago, Chelsae Anne (my photog!) and I jumped on a quick Silver Airways flight from West Palm Beach to Bimini, the closet Bahamian island to the US. With it being my first time visiting The Bahamas, I was beyond excited to explore the teeny tiny island. Here’s a recap of our amazing adventure…
My favorite bloggers are the ones who not only share beautiful locations with their readers, but who take time to explore the world they live in day to day. For me, that’s South Florida… and it never gets old. I continue to find so much joy and adventure in my backyard. And I hope that inspires you to explore right where you live too!
Is it me or does a long flowy dress always come in handy in the summertime? For luncheons, travels, dinners by the beach… I’ll throw it on with a long linen scarf, pair it with a navy blazer at night or wear it with pretty jewelry.
West Palm Beach -> Stock Island, right outside of Key West!
Stock Island is near Key West, the southernmost city in the US, just a 5.5 hour drive from West Palm Beach. It’s a tiny community best for those seeking rest and relaxation, away from the bustling bar scene in Key West!
