The ahh-mazing thing about being a blogger is that you can reinvent yourself however many times you want to. You don’t have strict rules. Or red tape. You don’t have to ask for permission. You can do whatever you want. And if that means one day you’re “chic and preppy” and the next day you’re “grungy and goth,” then so be it. That’s what style is about. And if your style isn’t evolving, you’ll never grow as a “fashion blogger,” as I like to think.

NYFW 2017

When most people think of New York Fashion Week, they envision models strutting down the runway in some of the most glamorous creations by household names like Tory Burch, Alexander Wang and Ralph Lauren. They think of Gigi, Kendall, Hailey and now… Kaia. They imagine Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour sitting front row with her infamous sunglasses on. They see swarms of photographers. They see fashion girls and think they are only concerned with brands, status and trends. They see glamour. They see fun. They see opulence. They think, “what a dream…”

Whenever I was bored, I used to rifle through my mom’s things. Who didn’t? I would spend hours and hours going through her costume jewelry, trying on her shoes and belts (some of which I still wear today!) examining her collection of blazers and jackets from the early 90s until she would find me hiding underneath an obscene pile of clothing and say, “Stephanie! What are you doing?! What is this mess?!”

But there was one particular drawer that I loved the most…

Back in Florida <3

Having spent nearly two weeks in New York City crammed in a tiny Airbnb + hotel room, I cannot be more grateful to be back in South Florida where I call this place home. Happy to be back shooting away!

Today’s look – literally, like head-to-toe – is compliments of Express Petites! Ever since they announced “Petites,” I’ve been shopping their line like a shopaholic mad woman.

Go The Blazer Way

If you only buy ten one new piece this season, it should be a blazer.

Per usual, I purchased this blazer from Neiman Marcus on impulse for New York Fashion Week. Why? Because to me blazers are like the magic piece in your wardrobe that will instantly pull together any outfit. Not only do they come in a multitude of styles, but it’s functionality is undeniable – you will get so many miles out of a blazer! I.E. the perfect item(s) to stuff pack in your overweight suitcase for Fashion Week.

If there’s one thing that stirs up excitement and frenzy in my bank account the fashion community, it’s when a major designer collaborates with a department store to create a limited-edition capsule collection…

Happy Wednesday everyone!

As we speak, I’m en-route to NYC for Fashion Week and could not be more excited to share a ton of great outfits this year, many of which were inspired by bold colors, feminine silhouettes and the late 80’s slash early 90’s. Fashion Week is a time where you are supposed to “play up” your style so I figured, why not push the envelope and go for it. So, stay tuned for a lot of exciting looks this week!
