The fact that it’s already November is baffling, but nonetheless we are moving right along into the holidays, which means ringing in the gift-giving season. Trust me, I’ve done the whole ‘wait-until-the-last-minute’ act, but I’ve learned my lesson over the years especially since we’ve been planning our civil ceremony (less than 3 weeks out!). So without further ado, I’m sharing an assortment of the best-of-the-best beauty products I’ve been using this year…and trusted ones I’ve zeroed into as the wedding day nearers (more on this soon). Let the scrolling and shopping commence! – – Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour #57 A classic red matte lip with a touch of elegance? Yes, please! The Chanel #57 Rouge Feu has become my go-to red — plus it’s creamy, lightly hydrating and wears for hours. Dry Brush Up your (body) skincare game with the G. Tox Ultimate Dry Brush from Goop — I’m referring to its ability to exfoliate skin to a smoother state, stimulate lymphatic drainage and combat cellulite. Aerin Fragrance Consider it the next best thing to a plane ticket to the South of France: Aerin’s Éclat de Vert. Teaming with notes of lemon oil and Magnolia leaves, Aerin’s fragrance is equally as beautiful on a vanity as when you spritz it on. Gold Sculpting Bar Confession: I’ve been doing facial massages with Jillian Dempsey’s Gold Sculpting Bar every night since I got it! Because it has defined my cheekbones, sculpted the jawline and is great for lymphatic drainage aka the de-puffing effect — you can say, I struck skincare gold. And since the holidays are the best time to splurge — this gift is absolutely worth it. ZIIP Ox + Crystal Gel Kit I had a similar treatment done last year and have had the kit on my wish list ever since! I’m a big believer in investing in skincare, especially when you find one that works for you. Given its long list of benefits and 9 different electrical treatments, feeling intrigued and hopeful is a total understatement. Especially if it means outsmarting nature and keeping my skin lifted well beyond my 30s? It’s worth taking the plunge despite the price tag. Le Lift As someone who typically wakes up with puffy eyes, the Chanel Le Lift under eye mask has added back smoothness and brightness. Needless to say, it’s worked wonders within a blink of an eye, which is worth a major selfie-moment in my book. Gold Hairbrush In the realm of hairbrushes, ease into your daily routine with this handcrafted iconic, gold Aerin hairbrush. Perfect for all hair types and fitting for any dressing table! Neely & Chloe Vanity Case A little more structure than your typical cosmetic case — it’s the perfect size for all your bits and baubles (and doubles as a great travel bag for the future!). Make it an extra special gift by adding a personalized hand-painted text or initials. Cheek Tint Inspired by a vintage blush, you can wear it with a “cat-eye and go for a Bardot look” or use it as a lip balm. Super easy to blend and leaves a beautiful, flattering flush — let’s just say a dab of Jillian Dempsey’s Cheek Tint goes a long way! Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Mask When it comes to clean and green beauty, I resort to Tata Harper. I use her floral mask every other week, it’s the perfect luxe skincare experience for every skin type. Facial Steamer After learning how important it is to steam your face (think: unclog pores, stimulate circulation and say goodbye to breakouts — a topic for another day!), I knew I needed an at-home personal sauna in my life. So I treated myself to one! P.S. they’re having a sitewide sale as we speak. Nail PolishThere are a few things as satisfying as a fresh manicure, except for maybe the Ballerina by Chanel. Long-lasting and beautiful, I’ve been wearing this nude pink for most of the year. Gucci Lip Balm Housed in the most gorgeous packaging (hello, vintage) and packed with moisture, these Gucci lip balms can be layered with your favorite lipstick to create a new hue. Briogeo Hair Mask Tried and true, after discovering this during my birthday month, Briogeo’s clean and gentle hair mask is sticking around in my beauty cabinet! Spa Headband It’s often the simplest things that make the biggest difference, which is why I’ve always prioritized having the right headband when it comes to washing my face. Case in point? Meet the absorbent, stretchy and stylish Kitsch Eco-friendly Spa Headband — cleverly designed for when your hair’s down or up in a ponytail! P.S. Did I mention how soft it is? Face Roller In my honest opinion, you can never have too many face tools and the ReFa’s Carat Ray face roller is certainly no exception. Designed to replicate a “kneading” motion on your face aka de-puffs and re-contouring appearance, it’s time to bring the spa home and enjoy a revitalizing face massage. Silk Pillowcase The gift of better sleep? Meet the Slip embroidered silk pillowcase. You’ll be waking up on the right side of the bed. Face Mask Friends don’t let friends go without trying the SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Mask. The cotton mask is soaked in the hero ingredient, pitera, leaving the skin incredibly hydrated! Hands down, it’s become one of the products I’ve grown to love and swear by. Like I’ve said before, the key to using an expensive face mask is to use (this one) 3x a week. Save the mask, fold it back and place it in the fridge! Cle de Peau Beaute Famously known as one of the most expensive (and best) moisturizers on the market, I’ve been using Cle de Peau Beaute for a year now and yes, my smooth skin is forever grateful. Mini Soaps One of my favorite indulgences is a set of Claus Porto mini soaps, so it only makes sense to treat my close friends to some! Plus, its variety of notes tick every box. Candle Nothing is more refreshing than the scent of vanilla and cedar from this Maison La Bougie ‘Rose Rouge’ candle. Bonus: Once the candle’s out, the floral ceramic makes for a great home decor accessory! Hair Clip From tousled waves to a classic ponytail, this ready-made bow clip by Maison Michele ties in the right amount of style and class. So many on your shopping list and so little time? Whether it’s the luxe packaging of a lipstick, a nostalgic scented candle (that also looks good on the dresser!) or the coziness of a silky-smooth pillowcase, I’m sure one of these options will delight. But don’t forget to grab something for yourself, too (before they run out!) Xo, Stephanie Photography by Chelsae Anne
