[c/o L’Occitane en Provence] I had such a great time visiting the new L’Occitane en Provence boutique at CityPlace last week with some of West Palm’s finest beauty and fashion bloggers. Dionne, the store manager, greeted and gave me a fantastic tour, of which she explained each product line and the history of the brand as well as give me a soothing hand massage, fragrance ritual and luxe mini-facial. I learned that my skin was very dry, likely due to the harsh cleanser I was using on my face, and was given a new foam cleanser and the Crème Divine to remedy it with. To give you a little background on this miracle cream (yes, it’s that amazing), it’s been voted – twice – as the highest-ever-scoring cream in The Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible, among a number of other lifestyle magazines too. It’s rich in the Corsican immortelle flower essential oil (see flower pic. above), which gives it an amazing smell and more importantly, is an all natural, paraben-free and relatively affordable product when compared to other creams like La Mer and Chanel’s line of moisturizers. Since using it (twice daily), I’ve noticed my skin is a lot softer, brighter, dewy and fresh looking. I also love that it’s super, super concentrated so a lot will go a long way aka you’ll end up saving a ton of money if you use it. Sold? Click this link to get it. I also learned that L’Occitane uses shea butter that’s harvested by a group of women in Sub-Saharan Africa that use the super-creamy ingredient to nourish and protect their skin. When it arrives to the L’Occitane factory, it’s in it’s purest form and is extremely rich – which why you see a percentage labeled on the front of most of their products. Enriched with 20% shea butter, their hand cream is super rich and with no oily traces – making it the perfect hand cream for those of you using your hands a lot. I definitely recommend checking it out. So before wrapping this up, I want mention two more things – first, if you bring in a group of 5 or more girls – everyone will be treated to mini-facials, hand massages, fragrance rituals and a special discount. And as a bonus for hosting it, you’ll receive a basket full of complimentary goodies – so definitely try to schedule a party for you and your friends! Second, there’s a party coming up this Thursday, Sept.4th at their CityPlace location, in partnership with one of NYC’s most iconic bars, Please Don’t Tell. Guests who attend will be pampered with complimentary rituals, refreshments, and receive a pouch full of goodies, with any $65 purchase! That’s all for today! Hope you’re having a great Labor Day weekend! Xo, Stephanie Turn on your JavaScript to view content
