Lover of L’Occitane

FEATURING: Immortelle Reset Oil-in Serum, Moisture Prep, Water Cleanser

As you may have seen on my Instagram Stories, the travels are back and the meetings/events are in full swing. Bouncing from South Florida back to the around-the-clock lifestyle in New York City, its relentless rhythm of “pushing your limits” has rubbed off on me. Side note: don’t get me wrong, it’s super fun and exhilarating, but it’s also taken a toll on my skin.

Confession: I don’t even realize it until I look in the mirror and wonder if I could just hit a RESET button I’d take care of this differently.

Truth is… I (you) can.

What I’ve learned? No matter where I am and what I am doing, stress, sun pollution and fatigue have a way of sneaking in. I’ll be transparent here, lately it’s piled up from my schedules, photoshoots and making it to meetings on time (specifically with brands + PR firms #cringe). All of which play a part on my skin, making it appear dull, dry and lackluster. #smh It’s not a good look for any one.

Even with my skincare regime and beauty secrets, I will always welcome an extra added boost especially when it fits in with my time. Though I am in the “city that never sleeps,” it doesn’t mean my skin needs to look like it’s lost sleep. So, I’m almost hesitant to share this, but I need to…because it w-o-r-k-s! Ladies, L’Occitane’s Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-In-Serum (my new secret elixir) has been my saving grace. Like the product name hints at, it starts working overnight. Come again?

Think: reset + rest your skin overnight, which means you’re actually getting a beauty sleep. When I applied this (pea-sized drop) serum to my dry skin, the next morning I noticed my face was already more moisturized and my complexion was radiant. #hellosunshine Yes, by my 7am call-time I was all ready to shoot…#micdrop never have I ever witnessed a serum work so fast!

Lifehack: I like using two ice cubes to gently massage on my face in the morning, while standing in front of the AC for that guaranteed (extra) firm skin. Then, before heading out the door I’ll throwback a cup of black coffee to fight off any inflammation! Now, combine this with my PM routine aka an easy RESET…I’ve got quite a rewarding and lasting effect. Hot tips: add their water cleanser + moisture prep to your AM routine for a full impact.

Fun fact? I started using L’Occitane back when I started my blog in 2014. Yup, it’s been my day one. My favorite product at the time was their award-winning Divine Creme because I have normal/dry skin. So I know feeling pampered by them then, is no surprise to why I feel even more pampered now…it’s like L’Occitane knows my schedule or something!

And if you’re anything like me, once you find something that works (and works consistently) it’s hard to let go. No need to hit snooze when I already have my RESET that’s got me on a whole new level of beauty sleep.

Xo, Stephanie

P.S. There’s something relaxing about finding the right skincare products and routine that works for you because these factors make all the difference (now and in the years to come). So let’s keep this personal skincare going – it deserves our full attention! Stay tuned in November, I’ll be diving into topics like acne, aging and how I prevent and care for this on a much deeper level.

[Thank you L’Occitane for sponsoring today’s post!]
