As much as I love soaking up the sun, going on vacation, breezy sundresses and longer evenings at the beach, the heat and humidity can be too much and wreck complete havoc on my daily beauty routine. During the summer, I always find myself questioning which lotion I should use, how to keep my skin refreshed, which perfume is delicate enough for daytime wear, and so on – because the last thing I want to do is attempt perfection when I know everything will melt away as the hot day drags on.

Thankfully, L’Occitane en Provence, one of my favorite all-natural beauty brands, launched a line called the Verbena Body Care Collection, to solve this exact issue and let me tell you… it’s perfection.

Inspired by the markets of Provence, where the refreshing, lemony scent of freshly picked verbena leaves fill the air, this line features everything from cooling creams to light perfumes to refreshing shower gels.

Here are some of my favorite items:

Their Frisson Verbena Eau de Toilette is a light, citrusy fragrance that blends top notes of lemon and bergamot (a member of the citrus family) with fresh verbena and cucumber. So many people have commented on it – it’s great!

I’m also staying cool with their Verbena Hand Cream. The cream-to-gel formula leaves you feeling anything but greasy, and the size of the product is perfect for stashing away in your purse.

Next up would be L’Occitane’s Frisson Verbena Gel for Legs and Feet. I like to put mine in the fridge and use it at night, after a hot shower. The cooling gel feels great on my muscles after a hot day or after an intense workout.

Traveling? Consider bringing L’Occitane’s Refreshing Body Mist with you – crafted with a blend of invigorating smells, this cute travel-sized bottle delivers a burst of freshness that’s great for refreshing your skin. I’ve used mine so much lately!
