Today I’m sharing Pt. 2! Have a look… Um… yeah, these jeans rock. And are my favorite style so far! I love skinny ripped jeans. They’re a great way to inject edge into an outfit. Skinny jeans are also extremely versatile and easy to style. So far, I’ve worn them with a sweater and sneakers to run errands and with a leather jacket to dinner with friends. The list goes on and on… Above all, I love how they fit my body, accentuate my curves and how they make my legs look. American Eagle offers a number of sizes – including short sizes – in most denim styles. So, if you’re petite like yours truly, I highly recommend browsing their line. Plus, they’re really affordable! And stretchy :-p Can you say #alldaycomfort? #LOVE How great is this length?! It’s perfect. (I’m 5’2″ and typically wear a size 00/0) No need to roll up the bottoms. For this particular look, I added a silver statement necklace with black pumps (click the link above to see how much these bad boys cost!) and aviator sunglasses to further the rock n’ roll vibe I was going for. A black blazer from BCBG with an AEO Soft & Sexy swingy tank in tan tied this look together. Planning to wear them over and over… Yup, I’m a skinny jeans girl – in a forever kind of way. I love how you styled those jeans! I sometimes have a hard time styling distressed jeans, but I love how chic and stylish your outfit is! Knots and Ruffles Reply
Stephanie, I love your style! Creative, classy & beautifully put together?? I’m hoping you can help me…I tried the ripped AE jeans on in the store and thought they were a bit tight…I’m 5’1, petite ( 00/0) and tried on the 0’s…My question is, are you wearing 0’s in your photo? If so, did you have to stretch them out? What’s your secret to having them fit like that? I would love your feedback! Thanks! Reply
Thank you – you’re so sweet! 🙂 I’m wearing the size 00P! AEO jeans fit me really well for some reason (rare – jeans NEVER fit my body type!)… so no alterations were needed with this particular style! My recommendation to you would be to buy the size 0P (I believe they are available online) and wash/dry them. That might help. You could also try rolling up the bottoms of your jeans to expose your ankle. Sometimes I do that when my jeans are too long. It also helps to balance out your look. If that doesn’t work, get them taken in by a tailor for $10! It’s a small price to pay for the perfect fit. 🙂 Let me know what you ultimately decide to do! Thanks for following! <3 Reply
