SWEATER, PANTS, SANDALS, EARRINGS, SUNGLASSES: (c/o) Ann Taylor I’m back. From jet lag that is. Last week, I mentioned in “Indian Diaries Pt. 1” how going to India was not only spur of the moment but a huge investment for me. (Quite frankly, all my trips are a huge investment for me!) But if there’s one thing I’ve figured out it’s this: you can’t put a price tag on memories. I’ll dive deeper into this subject + more from my trip to India later so please hang tight! In the meantime, leave your questions in the comment section and I’ll try to answer them in Pt. 2. So today I’m taking a quick break from India content to share this outfit from Ann Taylor. Sure, it’s another all-white ensemble but I figured with Memorial Day right around the corner, that you would appreciate it! Lately, I’m drawn to comfortable clothing. I’m not the type of person to wear sweatpants in public (nothing wrong with it, I just prefer wearing sweatpants when I work out or travel) so when I find a pair of comfortable pants, I gravitate to them SO quickly and buy like a million pairs. Case in point: the Marina style (pictured). I have like four pairs (two in white, one in beige and one denim style). I also love how universally flattering they are on almost all body types. The high waist gives the appearance of longer legs and the roominess of the pants conceals your thighs (which for me is the biggest part of my body). I paired this look with a lightweight sleeveless sweater in white and faux-snakeskin sandals that have a slight heel (being 5’2, I love when casual sandals have a heel!). My gold hoop earrings (sold out, more options here) and sunglasses are also from Ann Taylor! Who knew Ann Taylor had so many adorable adorable accessories online right now! Check out my favorites below… All in all, each piece from this outfit can be worn a ba-zilliion times and are great pieces to add to your summer wardrobe! Oh! I appreciate you saying there is nothing wrong with wearing swear pants in public . I know you don’t want to upset your followers, but there is almost always something wrong with wearing sweatpants anywhere but the gym . Jandrew Dress The Part http://www.jandrewspeaks.com Reply
Yes! They’re pretty true to size. The only thing I can think of is if you wear wide sizes. If so, I would size half a size up! But for the most part – these are pretty standard. Reply

I am wondering what size you are wearing for the marina pants from Ann Taylor? Is it a regular or petite size? Would appreciate the sizing tips. Thanks Reply
