Summer Looks with Marks & Spencer

I can’t get over how beautiful Palm Beach is during spring. Some would argue that winter is the best season here. But I disagree. I think springtime is the prettiest. Flowers are in full bloom, the weather is warm (but not too warm) and all the out-of-towners (snowbirds, as we like to call them) who visit Palm Beach for the wintertime are gone. Leaving the town with nothing but locals until October (when “season” picks back up again).

The past couple of weeks in Palm Beach have been gorgeous. And although I’ve been spending more time in Miami for blog work + friends), I always come back to Palm Beach with so much gratitude in my heart. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t give thanks for living in such a beautiful town…

Anyways! Last week I did some online shopping at Marks & Spencer (yes again – don’t judge me, check out last month’s post here!) to prep for this last bit of spring + start of summer! I found the prettiest stripe dress… but it was one size too big so I threw on a pair of wedges to add height and tied the belt twice around my waist (it’s shown tied once) to quickly “take it in.”

Midi skirts have always been a favorite of mine because they tend to be flattering on almost every body type. Plus who doesn’t love wearing one?! They make you feel so feminine…

I needed a white one for the summer so I bought this one from Marks & Spencer (petites note: I took in ½ inch in waist) and paired it with a silky off-the-shoulder blouse (this kind of material works well in the heat). I slipped into a new pair of slides (watch out: I just bought like five new pairs!) and threw on a pair of tortoise hoop earrings (sold out, more options here) to add interest.
