Passports, baggage claim, coffee stains… and jet lag. Last season was filled with life on a plane and quite a number of hotel stays but it’s a been a beautiful break to be home. As you know, I’ve been investing heavily in my newly moved into 1920s historical apartment, searching for unique finds, special pieces and feminine designs that speak to my overall vision with my interior designer, Danielle Rollins (ekk! I cannot wait to share more about this project.). I’ve had to fully commit and sacrifice significant time to the project by focusing on one space at a time (as seen in my recent closet makeover here). I’ve never felt so energized and exhausted at the same time. Getting rid of clothing for my closet makeover was a great reminder to really shop for investment pieces, truly. They rarely go out of style and can be used nearly every season. One of my newest finds (and one that’s definitely staying with me!) is my new Brahmin handbag. I actually have this exact style handbag in white (#guilty) and another one from the brand, I love them so much. Maybe it’s the sumptuous whiskey color and classic shape that’s calling my name or perhaps, it’s any moment I spot timeless luxury in a brand’s DNA that makes me want to have more and more – either way, this bags design adapts luxury to a lifestyle with ease and I find that rather clever. There are hints of vintage too! Just look at the tab lock – it’s super elegant… Given my current lifestyle, interior design appointments and commutes (my boyfriend lives an hour south of West Palm Beach in Miami), I love how handy and stylish this bag is for me (and love how pretty it looks in my closet too). Gotta run today. Life’s calling. No, not an airline ticket – life. My work, my apartment, my patient boyfriend, my family, my workout routine. I have a few minutes left before my next shoot and honestly, you might be able to spot me just from this bag! Hope everyone is having a great day today. As always, thank you for stopping by!
