Thank God it’s almost Friday! While it seems like an appealing option to work from home, it’s not always that simple! Sometimes I find myself working until 10 at night because I can’t turn that “work-mode” switch off! I figure, “just one more email…” and next thing I know, I’m at my computer for another hour or so. Fortunately, I’m taking a mini-vaca this weekend with my best friend in Miami Beach. We’re staying at the cutest boutique hotel called Circa39, dining at The Palms Hotel on Saturday and soaking up the sun ALL weekend long! Today’s outfit is so cute and simple! I’m wearing an Alice & Olivia classic shirtdress exclusively from Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton with black slides from Marshalls (similar here and here) and a hat from H&M.

The great thing about a shirtdress is that it can easily take you from work to lunch to cocktails in a matter of minutes. All you have to do is switch out your accessories. So it’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe and one that’s super easy to style. I’ve seen girls wear shirtdresses with sneakers, lace up gladiator sandals, heeled sandals… you name it! Anyone can pull this style off.
