I’m pretty sure colorblocking is here to stay – and what’s great about this trend is that it’s super easy to assimilate into an existing wardrobe. Concerned you won’t have the experience or comfort level to pull it off? Don’t. This trend has popped up in stores in lots of creative ways, like this versatile sexy, single dress from Express, so don’t fret – it can easily be done. Here’s how:

Mash up bold accessories with bright separates, or simply allow one piece to do all the talking – while the rest is simmered down in some sort of neutral tone, like an all white outfit with red sandals. You can also opt for wearing pieces that are similar in hue, like hot pink pants with a tangerine top while, keeping the accessories simple. Neon colors and patterns are also perfect partners for this trend – just pick a bottom with a graphic motif and add a solid colored top to polish it up.

What’s your favorite way to sport this trend? Feel free to share your ideas in the comment section!

Xo, Stephanie
