Tangerine happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear because it’s vibrant, sassy, attention getting – and looks great when paired with a cobalt, ink blue, denim or even light blue colors.

While the snappy hue is fun to wear, it’s not necessarily the easiest. But no worries – there are all sorts of ways you can incorporate the shade into your wardrobe. The key is to start with your skin tone…

If you’re olive-toned, stick to a tangerine hue all year long (it looks fantastic) and for lighter women, find a top with a hint of it in a print or in a softer hue.

Another way you can incorporate this color is with a great bag, scarf or heels paired with yellow and green colors to give a bit of a tropical punch to it. If you’re looking to crank up the color, try matching it with fuchsia, royal blue or even turquoise. And for those that are daring, consider wearing tangerine as lip color, eye shadow or on your nails.

What do you think? Is tangerine a no-no? Share your thoughts below!

Xo, Stephanie
