No fuss, easy, feel-good looks? Yes, I’m talking about timeless styles I’m currently loving. Since we’re all going through a time of slowing down and taking it easy, I’ve been wearing a lot of comfortable yet timeless items in my closet (especially with more people working from home). I admit I have two approaches to styling my outfits; one that’s more editorial and shared on my Instagram and blog as well as a mix of my everyday easy-to-wear personal style, which generally keeps comfort top-of-mind. But I think there’s a way to get creative with how accessories are tied in for both, right? After all, it’s the addition of unique pieces that make an outfit personally yours. And while you should definitely stock up on great jeans, tops and sandals — you should also have a sleek handbag. Month after month, I’m impressed by how Brahmin continues to bring in the sense of timelessness (one of my ethos) into their collections. From a woven work of art like the Natural Chatham Caroline to a luxurious leather good like the Daydream Melbourne Mod Bowie, it’s no secret they’re one of my go-to handbag brands (more here). Another reason why I’m excited to say, their newest design might just be my favorite yet. Just swing over to my OOTD page for proof! When it comes to accessory staples you can’t go wrong with a black handbag, particularly one that has the chicest top handle (made from tortoiseshell resin aka an effortless way to infuse a sophisticated vintage edge). Meet the Black Palmetto Mod Camille, an artisanal woven handbag with black leather trim in a roomy rectangular shape. I haven’t seen a design like this from Brahmin and in such a chic shape! Though I’ll be home for the most part, this handbag still pairs perfectly with my easy-to-wear looks and dresses it up for when I do need to run to the store for essentials, groceries or if my fiancé and I need to head back to Miami (speaking of, should I get this one for him?). It’s a go-to bag that goes with just about any ensemble — spacious, classic and fitting (I’m confident it won’t go out of style!) and will top some of the trendier bags out there. I had to share this charming staple with you. Wishing everyone a safe, calm and healthy week ahead! I’m remaining optimistic that things will get better and these occasional posts about fashion, especially from brands I adore, will spark a little joy and bring a small smile during this time.
