These fun shorts are cut from a washed-out fabric that have a bit of stretch so they are super comfy and easy to wear. They sit high on the waist and softly flare out for a loose fit through the legs. I wore them with a lightweight knit top and sleek blazer, but you can wear them with pretty much anything – like a linen blouse and espadrilles for a casual look.

Worried you’re not tall enough or have long enough legs to pull it off? Don’t… because anyone can look amazing in shorts as long as it’s pulled together nicely.

Be sure to tone down the trend during the day and put your legs on display at night. Otherwise you’ll look like you’re trying too hard. If you’re looking to steer attention away from your thighs, tuck in a printed top into a pair of simple, unrolled shorts for a streamline look. If you want to bare it all, wear a heel or a wedge to elongate your legs and to make you appear slimmer. Try throwing in some funky accessories to oomph up your outfit, but remember to keep everything complimentary (gold with gold, silver with silver, etc.) so it looks chic.

The great thing about shorts are they can be dressed up or down, so you’ll get a lot of mileage out of them. And really – at the end of the day – as long as you feel comfy and confident in them, you’ll look amazing.
