My favorite bloggers are the ones who not only share beautiful locations with their readers, but who take time to explore the world they live in day to day. For me, that’s South Florida… and it never gets old. I continue to find so much joy and adventure in my backyard. And I hope that inspires you to explore right where you live too!

On this day, Chelsea Anne (my photographer!) and I drove up and down streets in Palm Beach searching for the perfect location to shoot. We found one spot, which at first did not seem that great, jumped out the car and starting shooting. As soon as we glanced at the photos, we we’re surprised to discover how breathtaking the location was with the palm trees, sunset and beautiful homes in the background.

I wore a silky sheer blouse with a frayed denim skirt from Topshop and sandals from Ann Taylor. Realizing this outfit was too plain as is, I piled on accessories – a dainty necklace, a pair of statement earrings, three bracelets and two rings from Tous to complete the look. What I love most about Tous is how lightweight their jewelry is. And how easy it is to pair with summer looks – both causal and formal! Since I’m such a fan of statement earrings, I was immediately drawn to this mother-of-pearl pair from their Ciel collection. I also loved the matching gold bracelet…

My necklace featured the iconic Tous bear symbol and was outlined in dainty colored gemstones, picking up light every time I posed for pictures. To match it, I wore a thin gold ring with a much smaller bear.

Speaking of rings, I also loved my statement ring from the Eloise collection as well as the matching beaded bracelet.

Believe it or not, missing out on beautiful spots in Palm Beach happens to me all the time! And every time it does, I think of how easy it is to miss out on life because I’m too preoccupied in my thoughts or I’m on my phone shopping a sale like a crazy person because I’m a blogger… sometimes I have to remind myself that life is a beautiful adventure no matter where you travel to or what you do. And that it’s important to explore your city just as you would a new city. To open your eyes and to soak in the beauty around you!
