So much holiday cheer. And SO many parties to attend! Which means you’ll need a good pair of shoes. Preferably festive shoes. The kind of shoes that spark conversation. The kind of shoes that make your legs look a mile long. The kind of shoes that go with the extremes – miniskirts, floor-sweeping gowns and bright green pants. What? The best festive shoes play with color and embellishment, injecting personality into even the most bland and basic holiday look (i.e. that LBD you’ve had since college). And, above all, that you can wear well after the holidays. Case in point, the Ave Suede Pump from Bruno Magli. While you could pair your basic black pumps with your basic LBD from college, why not switch it up with something a bit more festive (and surprisingly, comfortable)? The ornate pearl and gold detailing on the front of the pointy heel catches the light when you walk. And the suede finishing feels so rich. For the minimalist fashionista with elegant taste, let me recommend the Alina Leather Pump in blush pink. I love them because they are classic and traditional, a pair of shoes that add a hint of color to your outfit and that can be worn well into the springtime. And for the girl who’s always semi-barefoot doing the heel switching act from work to party. There’s no need! Consider the Miranda Chic Suede slingbacks, perfect for all-day wear. (not pictured) Let’s not forget about the Aurora Suede ankle booties! Wear them with sleek black jeans and a cape for chilly nights out on the town. (not pictured) So whether you prefer the fancy bejeweled Ave Suede Pump or the classic sky high Alina Pump in pink, comfortable slingbacks or chic ankle booties, the most festive shoes this season can be found at Bruno Magli. Those shoes are gorgeous!!! Love your green pants and black skirt! http://www.rdsobsessions.com Reply
Thank you! I wear high waisted pants pretty often (because I’m so petite) so be on the lookout – you can also buy pants one size too big and get them tailored to fit you high waisted! I do that all the time… it’s a pain but the end result will be pants that fit you perfectly-to-the-T! Reply
When you say you’re petite, how tall are you exactly so I can compare to know the best sizing for myself when ordering online (I’m 5’1″)? Thanks! Reply
I’m not that far off from you! I’m 5’2 but do everything in my power to appear 5’9 in my pictures (all about the tailoring)! Let me know if you have any other questions about sizing! Xx Reply
