[Chelsae Anne | Photographer] If you only buy ten one new piece this season, it should be a blazer. Per usual, I purchased this blazer from Neiman Marcus on impulse for New York Fashion Week. Why? Because to me blazers are like the magic piece in your wardrobe that will instantly pull together any outfit. Not only do they come in a multitude of styles, but it’s functionality is undeniable – you will get so many miles out of a blazer! I.E. the perfect item(s) to stuff pack in your overweight suitcase for Fashion Week. BLAZER: (old), more options here/TURTLENECK: Club Monaco, more options here/SKORT: Maje/HEELS: Sam Edelman, more options here/EARRINGS: (c/o) BaubleBar/SUNNIES: more options here When styling a blazer, you can add a belt on top to make it more “put together.” Pictured here, I am wearing an old black blazer (more options here) with a skort from Maje, white heels (more options here) and a Gucci belt. Sorry for the picture quality! This was clearly taken on my iPhone on a rainy NYC day… BLAZER: (old), more options here/BRALETTE: more options here/SKIRT: Club Monaco/BAG: Zac Posen, more options here/SANDALS: Aquazurra/BELT: Express Here’s the same black blazer paired with a different belt (this one is from Express) with a bralette and midi skirt from Club Monaco. I wore this look to the Club Monaco presentation during NYFW and it was a big hit! It felt both sexy and polished. BLAZER: (c/o) Neiman Marcus/TEE: (old), more options here/JEANS: (old), more options here/HEELS: Sam Edelman, more options here/EARRINGS: YSL, more options here A blazer is a work go-to, but when the same plaid blazer is styled with an old designer tee and a pair of ripped up mom jeans, it’s a great weekend option. Happy first day of fall everyone! Please continue to pray for Mexico and Puerto Rico… Xo, Stephanie — Turn on your JavaScript to view content —
Okay, you’ve totally inspired me – I recently ordered a couple plaid blazers and now I can’t freaking wait for them to arrive! Also, strangely enough I def had a brown plaid blazer from DELIAS in highschool…who would’ve ever thought I’d regret getting rid of it haha! 😛 Reply
