Lately, all I want to wear when it’s hot outside are shorts – all – day – long. But what fun is that? Hence tonight’s look.

This little white dress from Ann Taylor is perfect for hot days in Palm Beach. It will make you look insta-ntly put together but requires little effort to style. It’s cut from cotton that’s double lined and feels wonderfully lightweight to wear.

Little white dresses are also super easy to accessorize. Cue printed scarves.

Trust me when I say this: scarves aren’t just for winter – they’re great for summer too!

Team your little white dress with shimmery slides (love these!) or elevate it for brunch with sleek wedges.

Quick tip: One of my favorite fabrics to wear in the summer is cotton. Not only does cotton work for all climates, which is why I wear it so much, but it’s incredibly chic – even when its humid. And since Palm Beach is both hot and humid, I’m happy to report this look withstands the test.

Plus, cotton allows for air to circulate and move freely, making the heat a smidge more bearable. Just be careful when washing cotton as it tends to shrink in the wash. If you’re worried, get it dry cleaned.
