Fact: Black never goes out of style. Everyone knows this. Fact: Though simple, a black dress can be flattering and perfect for almost every occasion. I mean, if there’s a single color that’s unanimously loved, it’s always black. And a woman’s closet is not complete without black… and more specifically a black dress.

And cue today’s look of the day!

I recently found this T by Alexander Wang loose and flowy black dress via Neiman Marcus – perfect for sweltering days here in South Florida (or the Mediterranean if you’re feeling super “extra”). It’s effortless and easy to pull together, so long as you have the right accessories.

And cue Gucci.

Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele once said that he had a “deep interest toward nature.” And Stephanie Hill, founder of The Style Bungalow, once said she “was obsessed with Gucci.”

So duh. That’s why I’m wearing them.

No, but really. How cool is that snake-applique? These Gucci espadrille wedges go perfectly with this black dress. I love how they very subtlety add a pop of print and texture. I can see myself wearing them to many South Florida events.

Now it’s time for Chanel to take the stage!

I adore Chanel vintage costume jewelry. It’s feminine and adds a touch of opulence to any outfit. So I threw in these gold quilted clip-on gold earrings…
