Happy Wednesday everyone!

As we speak, I’m en-route to NYC for Fashion Week and could not be more excited to share a ton of great outfits this year, many of which were inspired by bold colors, feminine silhouettes and the late 80’s slash early 90’s. Fashion Week is a time where you are supposed to “play up” your style so I figured, why not push the envelope and go for it. So, stay tuned for a lot of exciting looks this week!

This look was shot in Miami last weekend. In case you haven’t figured out by now, I’ve been spending a lot of time there. My boyfriend happens to live downtown so it’s been a nice change of pace visiting him on the weekends. It’s amazing how a city that’s only one hour away can feel so different yet so close at the same time.

I first noticed this sign, “Tropics,” while having dinner at Byblos across the street. (A fantastic restaurant, by the way! Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a long time.) I’ve always wanted to shoot near it so I was really happy to finally get the chance to do it! I think the photos turned out amazing!

I’m wearing an old blazer from Forever 21 (more options here) with an Ann Taylor blouse and heels. My bag is new (yay!) and it’s from Gucci via Neiman Marcus. My sunglasses are Ray-Bans.

This outfit works well for South Florida as it’s still extremely hot here (no surprise there). However, for those who live up north, you could easily swap out the shorts for a pencil skirt or a pair of cropped trousers. Both of which you can find at Ann Taylor… click here for more.
