BLAZER, SILK BLOUSE, PANTS, BAG, EARRINGS (sold out, but I love these): (c/o) Marks and Spencer Some people wear all-white Labor Day weekend. Some people wear all-pink Labor Day weekend. Guess which person I am? This past weekend, I dedicated almost all my free time to last minute preparations for New York Fashion Week, a little bit of sunshine and a plan for my upcoming move to a new (and much bigger) apartment (more on this later). In between the madness, I managed to shoot this all-pink look from Marks and Spencer because although the end of summer means abiding by that ridic rule “no white after Labor Day” and therefore everyonewears whiteon Labor Day, I thought about doing something slightly different. Plus, this ensem (translation: short for ensemble) is affordable andone that will carry you into the fall season. Aye! Can you believe it’s September already? Where. Does. Time. Go. I styled this suit with a silk blouse (a great option for South Florida right now because newsflash: it’s still blazing hot outside), simple slides and a coral bag that could easily pass as a designer brand. My pastel earrings also look designer and kind of vintage-y but cost less than $20 – similar option here. If girly isn’t your thing, you could easily style this suit with a crisp white t-shirt and dad shoes (you know which ones I’m talking about). Throw in an oversized tote and those sunglasses that look like they belong in Terminator the movie and you’ve got a completely different look. #fashuuun Not into girly things or dad shoes? Try styling this blazer with strappy sandals and jeans. Or, these pants with an oversized white button-down. The options are endless and this color pink is surprisingly very versatile. Definitely check out more of their fall new arrivals and ‘Must Haves!’ I currently have this pink gingham blazer, this midi dress and this yellow blazer in my wish list right now. And while you’re at it, be sure to check back later this week on Instagram or the blog for all the latest New York Fashion Week updates. I’ve put together some really fun outfits that I cannot wait to share – as you guys know, my style changes whenever I’m in a different city so stay tuned for a fun week! Xo, Stephanie [Thank you Marks and Spencer for sponsoring this look!]
Such a fan of the all pink! Especially as a suit. Definitely is girly and masculine at the same time. May || http://themoderness.com/ Reply
