Not only do they polish off your look, but they add personality too. Plus, there’s nothing that brings a smile to a woman’s face like a pair of dazzling earrings, a pair of killer heels or an unbelievable tote (take note, my dear male friends). I’m telling you, adding in that one accessory could be the thing that takes your outfit from ordinary to extraordinary. I’ve seen a simple black dress be transformed with the right accessories. Bold or understated, real or fake, small or big – I love them all. While some of you prefer minimalism, I have a hard time leaving my apartment without loading up. (P.S. before I go further, you MUST visit this website for inexpensive, ahh-mazing accessories.) No matter what your preference is, make sure you have fun with it and choose pieces that suit your personality or your outfit best. For this look, I paired a silk Joie top from Marshalls (normally $128, on sale for $39.99… SCORE) with a pair of printed shorts. I threw in a cool statement necklace from BAR III and mixed it in with neon earrings and a fun clutch from TJ Maxx for $14.99. As I’ve said before, you don’t have to spend a lot on your accessories. Just beware of anything that looks too cheap, and avoid pieces that are direct copies of the real thing. To help you out, I’ve selected a couple of my favorite pieces below – all under $75.
