Top: Tanya Taylor/Skirt: Tanya Taylor/Heels: Steve Madden/Clutch: Gucci – SIMILAR Every season, I’m tempted to buy new clothing to stay up to date with the trends and to refresh my wardrobe. Since splurging on clothing isn’t exactly what’s best for my piggy bank, I tend to invest in key pieces that can seamlessly blend into my wardrobe. That way the less expensive pieces (like jeans from H&M or a top from Forever 21) look more expensive. Crop Top: TIBI – SIMILAR/Skirt: Alice + Olivia/Heels: Steve Madden I recently collaborated with Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton for their Contemporary, “What’s Next” event, highlighting three spring trends – Fantasy Fabrics, 70’s Revival and Athleisure (their new workout collection!). Jumpsuit: Gucci/Heels: Steve Madden I had an amazing blow-out and manicure at the Saks Fifth Avenue Salon & Spa (nestled on the second floor by their lingerie department), followed by a makeup application courtesy of their event beauty partner, Trish McEvoy. I learned how to conceal, contour and blend with the help of their “Power of Makeup Planner,” a kit curated to my skin tone and type. (Their “Instant Eye Lift concealer” is my new secret weapon. Check it out here.) This fun two-piece Alice + Olivia outfit can be worn separately with a simple skirt from H&M, or paired together for a completely different look. Top: Alice + Olivia/Shorts: Alice + Olivia/Heels: ASOS/Clutch: Chloe I also look out for pieces that can be worn throughout multiple seasons. This top from The Kooples would look great with a simple tennis skirt or with a pair of muted jeans and boots during the fall. Top: The Kooples/Shorts: The Kooples/Heels: Gucci/Clutch: Valentino This funky tweed blazer can be worn with jeans and fun heels or with a simple black tank and black pencil skirt. Blazer: MSGM/Jeans: JBrand/Heels: Sophia Webster/Bag: Stella McCartney Although bold, this puffy skirt can transition from spring to summer, and the silhouette is one you’ll be able to wear time and time again. Skirt: Alice + Oliva/Top: Alice + Olivia/Heels: Steve Madden In May, Saks Fifth Avenue, in partnership with Boca Raton Museum of Art’s “Helena Rubinstein: Beauty is Power” exhibit, will host designer, Sophia Webster for a cocktail party and collection showcase at the museum. The designer will be at Saks on May 8th & 9th for a personal appearance and trunk show. One lucky fashion design student will win a pair of Sophia Webster shoes for their design illustration inspired by the theme, “Beauty is Power” and her colorful collections.
