With just a couple weeks left in the year, I decided to put my resolutions into action and start fresh – now. Before the clock strikes 12 on January 1st. You can read all about it here.

One of my resolutions was to do something that scared me. Think jumping out of a plane, embracing overalls, going on TV…

Little did I know that would happen. Like, five seconds after publishing that post.

The Balancing Act - The Style Bungalow

When the producer for the TV show, The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television asked me to style a segment on jeans for the holidays, I hesitated – like big time. I haaaaate public speaking (I’m so shy, guys) and the thought of putting myself out there – on national television – is not exactly the most comforting thought to someone who would rather sit behind a computer screen and hash out their feelings on Levi’s 711 skinny fit jeans (which are great, by the way) for the world to see. I’m a blogger. I like to write. That’s what I do and love!

And then I remembered my resolutions. [face palm] I took a deep breath and said, “yes.” EK! And it was so much fun! Check out some of the behind-the-scenes moments…

Teddy’s wearing the Levi’s 502 regular taper fit jean in black with a sweater and sneakers. When guys ask me what to wear on the weekends, I always suggest black jeans. Why? Because they look like dress pants and are super comfortable. Just roll up the ankle, throw on some sneakers (a taper fit is best for showing off shoes. It’s also a flattering style on guys) and a sweater.

I kept it classic with Brittany’s look. She’s wearing my favorite Levi’s style – the 711 skinny fit jean. It’s designed to conform to the shape of your body and looks great on everyone. Super versatile. Throw on a flannel with minimal accessories and heels for a holiday look.

Sophie wore a customized trucker jacket from Levi’s! A great gift for the holidays. Customizing trucker jackets is something you can do with the entire family. It helps your loved ones express their personal style. And ensures a gift they will love and wear all year!

You see, waiting to start something at the start of the new year means you lose out on valuable time to conquer your icky irrational fears and manifest the life you want. Think of how much time you have between now and the end of the year. A lot can happen! Like going on national TV to do something that you love doing everyday – talking about fashion.

(And for those of you wondering, I’m wearing a crisp button down with the 711 Levi’s fit jeans. My heels are from Nine West and my customized jacket, from Levis!)
