[Chelsae Anne | Photography] TOP: (c/o) Marshalls – SIMILAR/JEANS: (c/o) SIWY Denim/NECKLACE: (c/o) ILY Couture I’ve never been the type of person to wear pajamas and flip-flops to the airport for two reasons – 1.) having a dad who’s a pilot meant we had to adhere to a dress code when traveling and 2.) because I think there’s something to be said about a woman who dresses well to travel. The outfit you wear to the airport is also the first thing you’ll have on when you sit next to that super cute guy on the plane or when you arrive to your destination. So why risk it and put little effort into your look? You never know who’ll you run into! In honor of your upcoming summer travels, I decided to do a post on travel style… And my tiny apartment… 🙂 STEP 1: Figure out what to wear on your trip. Don’t get me started on that closet. It’s a sore subject. I basically live in a closet. STEP 2: Pack versatile items (ex. jeans or a light jacket that goes with everything or solid colored tops) that allow you to mix and match with everything you bring. STEP 3: Take a break. STEP 4: Keep packing… WEEKENDER: (c/o) J. McLaughlin/OVERSIZED TOTE: (c/o) Marshalls – GREAT ONE HERE Most of my clothing goes in a weekender or suitcase. My necessities + one outfit go in a large tote just in case I get stranded in a random city. True story – I’ve been stranded in Salt Lake City, Lima, Vancouver, NYC, Puerto Rico with nothing but a phone charger, wallet and a magazine more times than I can remember because I checked my bag. Now, I pack my carry on like a BOSS. STEP 5: Take another break. STEP 6: And when you’re ready, change into your travel getup. Which will be on the blog tomorrow! Stay tuned… Xo, Stephanie
