BIKINI TOP, BIKINI BOTTOMS (sold out): (c/o) Vitamin A, in partnership with Zappos

Hey Mon!

I was in Jamaica, in case you didn’t notice, staying at the most insane luxury eco-resort called GoldenEye. Yes, the same GoldenEye as the James Bond movie.  Ian Fleming, author behind all the James Bond novels, famously used this place as his retreat. Today it’s a hub for writers, artists, creatives or anyone seeking R&R. Safe to say, I was officially on Jamaican time, and although a struggle at first (to be 5 minutes late to everything, that is) I fully adopted to the amazing mindset of, “relax… everything little thing will be alright” by the end of my time there.

The other day, Jeanine (the amazing manager at GoldenEye) gave us access to a beach villa. One part to shoot. One part to enjoy! It was large, spacious and situated right on the beach. There was an outdoor shower in the back of the villa (most villas and cottages have one) making it so easy to switch from beach to shower in seconds. I’m sorry but nothing screams “tropical vacation” more than that…

Next week, I plan to share more of my thoughts on the resort, what to do while you’re here and yes – address the elephant in the room, “is Jamaica safe?” (spoiler alert: yes!)

Last week, I featured a “little black bikini” (or LBB, as I like to say) from Zappos. Click here in case you missed it… I also talked about Zappos and why I love ordering from the site. Think: expedited shipping + wonderful customer service + wide assortment of brands other than shoes! Yes, yes, YES.

This week, I’m featuring another bikini but this time a “little tropical bikini…” (or an LTB) from Vitamin A swimwear via dun, dun, dun… Zappos! I’m sharing it because I adore the print and fit! Being petite, I have a hard time finding swimwear that hugs my body in all the right ways. Sometimes XS’s are too big. Other times, too small. This XS right just right! (Note: if you have a larger bust, size up!)

By far, the best thing about being on vacation was living in bikinis! I wore this one from villa to shower to lunch to beach. And it was totally acceptable!

If you’re in the market, I also suggest this one and this one! Both provide slightly more coverage (up top) and look adorable as a crop tops with jeans or midi skirts! If you love one pieces (like me!), definitely consider this one!
