Take it from me, someone who spent many many years in a leotard in ballet classes, the right one piece can balance your body, compliment your skin tone, show off the good stuff and represent your personality. More importantly, it can give you the confidence you need to strut your stuff and feel good about yourself in front of others.

One of my “ballet tricks” was to wear leotards that are cut high on the thigh to make my legs appear longer. I would choose leotards with plunging necklines or with open backs to give the appearance of a nice, long look. This made me look longer and slimmer (I’m only 5’2) and feel beautiful standing next to ballerinas who were taller than me.

I would also wear printed leotards on days where I wanted to camouflage areas like my stomach or tush.

Interestingly, the second I put on this one piece, I thought to myself, “this feels a lot like one of my old favorite leotards that I used to wear all the time.” Then I looked up the designer and voilà…

The designer, Marysia Dobrzanska Reeves, is a former ballerina (who also spent many years in a leotard) and surfing enthusiast (who wore a lot of wetsuits). I knew it! There had to be something special about this suit… because it fit me perfectly!

Marysia’s swimsuits are all about impeccable fit and perfectly executed shapes.

Made from comfortable stretchy printed fabric (that hides a lot), this perfect one piece has a low back and sits slightly higher on my thigh (therefore giving the illusion of longer legs). Wear it on days where you want more coverage or on days where you want to leave a “little to the imagination…”
