The Pink Hotel

This morning’s visit to Rosas y Xocolate (the famed Pink Hotel in Mérida) was so fun – a must-see if you’re in the city. The food was delicious (so much that we’ll most likely come back for dinner!) and the service was outstanding. Our waiter let us talk for hours while we sipped on coffee and laughed at funny stories about ex-boyfriends and bad dates. It was a great change of pace considering we’ve been nonstop the entire time here!

I’m SOOO sad to leave! This little town has been nothing but wonderful, charming and friendly. I still can’t get over how beautiful our Airbnb is (yes, promise to disclose the location soon!) and how safe this city is. I know for a FACT that I’ll be back to Mérida (it’s only a 1.5hr flight from Miami) to explore the cenotes, Rio Lagartos (the pinks lakes), some of the gorgeous haciendas in the countryside as well as sample more food from traditional Yucatan restaurants. The town’s colorful walls have been a fantastic backdrop for my looks (many more are on the way!) and definitely reinvigorated me to travel more. (Next trip: in two weeks!)

On to today’s look…

I’m wearing a matching set from Red Carter a la Shopbop. I personally love traveling with matching sets because they are 1.) super hot right now and 2.) SO easy to style. Whether it be silk pajamas that double as a chic look, a millennial pink power suit or today’s look, I love them all!

The eyelet design of this look fits right into the scenery here, the cropped length is perfect for walking the streets at night and the crisp white color makes my tan pop! My scarf (a vintage find from eBay) doubles as an accessory and head

Shop it below… check back tomorrow for more!
