First time, second time…(who knows), but I do know I enjoy getting lost in the Times. (wink, wink)

While Florida’s unwavering warmth is a wonderful treat there’s nothing quite like experiencing fall in the big city. Who’s with me? Let’s dream about it for sec. Sippin’ on a foamy cappuccino with steamed oat milk (if you haven’t tried it yet you must!) to counter the hints of winter… now walk it out like the rest of the New Yorkers and you’ll soon be charmed by what you see and hear that permeates the air (hint: live music, jazzy feels + more). Nonetheless, it’s easy to fall in love with the irresistible metropolis – I have. I guess there’s a reason it’s made its way into many songs, become backdrops to some of the best films and obvi one of the fashion capitals of the world. Perhaps the rest of the world relates with my feels, too.

Within the borough of this concrete jungle, I’ve discovered one of my favorite parts: charming Greenwich Village.

I stayed here during Fashion Week and knew I had to return again. And yup, it still makes the list of my fave places in the city! The tree-lined streets amid brownstone houses and Washington Square Park – it’s something you’ll never grow tired of seeing. It’s pretty (and fun) chasing the light, pink colored walls and picture-perfect storefronts. Not to mention the popular cafes, creative details in the neighborhood and well, the bold fa-shun! I can’t help but feel inspired.

When I was looking for where to stay…I stumbled upon the Marlton Hotel luckily. Its rich history, Parisian-style and velvety, snug accommodations won me over. P.S. if you do stay here, you’ll have to order their egg + avocado toast from the breakfast menu! The enchanting hideaway is also situated in a prime spot. Few minutes away from my meetings and a few moments away from the best puppy watching in the world. Who knew there were so many different types of pups and pup friendly places in the city! Days are made and heart is full.

This trip was a solid balance of leisure and work and I can say there’s never been a better time to visit New York than now. Even if it’s your first time or seventh time…for work or for fun, you won’t be able to cover the countless treasures in one visit anyway…so it’s essential to come back time after time. And I hope you don’t mind if I do! I think there’s something to be said about getting lost here, it’s as if you always find yourself a little more each time. #worthit
